HOW PUZZLES FIT INTO THE CURRICULUM
Language Arts :
· Listening to, following and remembering a set of directions.
· Working cooperatively in a small group with appropriate language.
· Concentrating.
· Writing about the strategies that are used to put the puzzle together.
Social Studies:
· Direction and placement = map organizing skills, planning.
· Polite speaking manners in asking for things.
Physical Education:
· Small motor, eye-hand coordination.
Art/Math:
· Sorting and classifying by color, texture, pattern, and shape.
